One year ago today we closed all our doors and opened up a whole new world.
On March 13th, 2020 we closed our doors. We said goodbye to our kids thinking that we would see them in three weeks. We were wrong.
However, while the World was closing Boys & Girls Clubs of Contra Costa was stepping up.
Within three days of closing, we had a plan to transition to an online Clubhouse. One of the first in the nation!
We have put crisis supports for our kids and families first!
- Our school supply giveaway is going strong and we have now given away over 2,397 school supply kits!
- Given away over 700 diverse reading books.
- Daily online programming where we provide boxes of program supplies so that kids can fully participate in hands-on activities. To date, we have given away over 1,320 program supply boxes.
Since COVID19 we have done WHATEVER IT TAKES.... Will you join us?
